Golden Coco & Shrooms bars
We used our Golden Turmeric Honey and Superior Chaga to create these golden bars. A beautiful and delicious combo of three of nature's top immune supporting ingredients, chaga mushroom, raw honey and turmeric.
- 2 tbsp Golden Turmeric Honey
- 400g desiccated coconut
- 3 tbsp coconut milk
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 50g raw cacao powder
- 100g cocoa butter
- 3g / 1tbsp Superior Chaga Mushroom powder
- 20g coconut sugar
- 1 pinch sea salt
Blend the Golden Turmeric Honey, desiccated coconut, coconut milk until it forms a sticky mixture. Create 4cm long bars. Place on parchment paper and leave in the fridge for 30min.
Now, place the coconut shapes into the freezer whilst you make the raw chocolate. This means they won't loose shape and the chocolate will form a thicker coating as it cools quicker.
To make the raw chocolate covering by melting down the cacao butter in a medium heat bain-marie, sift and gradually add the cacao powder, coconut sugar and the Superior Chaga powder, use a whisk and gently blend until smooth. Allow the chocolate mix to cool slightly so that it doesn't run off too fast during the next step...
Remove the coconut bars from the freezer and dip them into the liquid chocolate, place them back on the parchment paper and cover any bits with chocolate that you might have missed. Place in the freezer for a couple of hours until set.
